Nonprofit informational online network designed to activate the disability community's grassroots in response to threats to civil rights protections for people with disabilities. Educates and informs people with disabilities, disability advocates, members of the general public, the business community, policy makers, and the media regarding threats to civil rights protections for people with disabilities.

National Council on Independent Living NCIL– www.ncil.org NCIL is the oldest cross disability, grassroots organization run by and for people with disabilities. Founded in 1982, NCIL represents over 700 organizations and individuals including: Centers for Independent Living (CILs), Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs), individuals with disabilities, and other organizations that advocate for the human and civil rights of people with disabilities throughout the United States.

Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Aging with a Disability

The types of disabilities included in the research are polio and post polio syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, stroke and others.
